Rainy Season in Thailand

When is it the rainy season in Thailand?

From 1st May to 31st October.

Can I go to Thailand during the rainy season?

Quick answer: Of course, it’s not that bad

Traveling in Thailand in the rainy or monsoon season doesn’t have to be a problem. The rainy season is very unpredictable, and even if it rains, it rarely does it all day, if not it rains a couple of hours very hard, usually in the afternoon-night and then stops.

Thailand during the rainy season has some advantages: less tourist, cheaper hotels and cooler temperatures than in March or April

If you come to Thailand in August, don’t worry too much about the weather and go wherever you want. In the south, where are the beach destinations, when it rains on the East coast it does not usually do so on the West coast, so you can always enjoy a beautiful beach without problems.
